Tillmann Heidelk
I am Analyst at the European Commission, currently working on evaluating the (economic) impact of cohesion policy and analyzing regional disparities in the European Union. I hold a PhD from the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) / Solvay Business School in Brussels, funded by the Belgian Scientific Research Fund (FNRS; FRESH), and have 8+ years experience working in international organizations and 8+ years experience leading international nonprofit organizations.
I possess strong leadership skills, for example gained by founding and leading Young European Leadership, an award-winning international nonpartisan and nonprofit organization, leading an international network of organizations, leading the planning and execution of international conferences/events, and guiding and mentoring other young people.
I am an experienced speaker at various conferences/events such as the European Parliament Committee for Education and Youth, UN High-Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment European Experts Stakeholder Engagement Meeting, United Nations Youth Assembly, Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, EFAMA Investment Management Forum, or the C20 Summit.
I am passionate about youth empowerment, gender equality, Europe’s future, innovation, traveling, baking, and photography.
